Dr. Chave was born in Wooster, Ohio and raised nearby in the small town of Apple Creek. Dr. Chave completed his undergraduate degree in 1995, receiving his bachelor of science degree In Exercise Physiology from Kent State University. After working for the same company for over 5 years he made the decision to further his education and apply to dental school. He was accepted into The Ohio State University’s incoming dental school class in 2001, and graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in June of 2005. After graduation Dr. Chave worked for a dentist in Columbus for over 2 years before coming to help out in Logan. His experience of growing up and living in a small town made Logan very comfortable for him. He very much enjoyed the small town atmosphere and the great people, which led him to buying the practice in Logan in July of 2008.

Debbie moved to the area from right outside Columbus(Galloway) in 1998, due to her husbands teaching position. Debbie attended The American School of Technology. She is experienced in Dental Office Management, and Dental assisting. She greatly enjoys the dental field, and helping all the patients and their needs. In her past time she enjoys spending time with her Son Justin and Daughter Brittani, and grandchildren. Hobbies include helping her husband with FFA activities, traveling, Euchre club,sports, and collecting unique pieces of jewelry.

Dixie has 42 years experience as a Dental Assistant. 5 of those years as assistant to Dr. Albert Leonard. She has also worked 25 1/2 years with Dr. Robert Leonard before coming to work for Dr. Chave. I was born and raised in Logan. I am married to Eric Sevcik Se and have one son Jordan. I enjoy sewing, traveling and boating.

Christy RDH, MHSA, grew up in Stow, Ohio. Her family moved to Logan back in the blizzard of 1978. She attended Logan High School and graduated from Fisher Catholic High School in 1980. She worked with Dr. Rob Leonard from 1998 until his retirement in 2017. At that time Dr. Chave purchased his practice and merged it. Christy is a wife and mother of 2 children. Christy also dedicates time to Hocking County dental sealant school.

Amy is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. E.F.D.A. Amy started in dentistry in 1989, in Craig, Colorado, working for Dr. Scott Fender, DDS.In 1990 Amy worked for a periodontist as a dental assistant until Amy moved to Logan, Ohio in 1994. Amy worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Robert Merrill, DDS, until 1998. Amy went to Ohio State University in 1999 and became an Expanded Function Dental Assistant and continued with Dr. Merrill as an E.F.D.A. Dr. David Chave purchased the practice in 2008 and Amy continues to work for him as an E.F.D.A. Amy has over twenty years experience.
